Lazy Fatso + Marriott Hotel Cake
Yeah, that sounds like me. Hasn't been updating my blog for some time. Hahaha....Went to Marriott Hotel today to pre-order the cake for my Co.'s Annual Party on Friday. Got alot of SHOCK ranging from the price of the cake to the delivery etc. Sigh... long story. Thanks to a wrong info colleague. Sigh... In the end i had to run down with another colleague to see and taste the cake.
The lady was quite nice. Nicole is her name. She served us politely and patiently explain the different type of cakes we can order cos we want to put on the SUPERHERO words on the cake. What a hassle. Aiyo. I mean, WE are the hassle, not the lady. So while we are tasting the cake, Nicole was squatting and half kneeled beside us explaining the stuffs. I give her credit for that. Excellent service. I also got no heart to be a bad customer. I also try to be as nice as possible.
It's not easy to be part of the hotel staff. I'm impressed. They really have to upkeep the service quality and the standards to live up to the brand of the hotel. Salute to the Service Sector Working Class... partly includes me. Hehe... We eventually bought the cake, Cherry Michell. Wah, name also so Upper Class ah...
