Happy National Day!
Happy 40th Birthday Singapore! For the first time in my life i'm so onz.... trot all the way to Collyer Quay with my cousins to capture these beautiful pics. Brought my tripod along, cos i don't care. Sacrificing my sleep just to watch these, die die must capture some nice shots. See these final products, I'm very satisfied. :) With tripod, the effect is really different and it's clear and good.
The picture above is the grand finale to mark the start of Singapore's 40th Birthday Celebration today. The fireworks are just splitting the whole dark sky bright. Very nice.... But to capture all these, think i'm watching the stupid camera screen more than appreciating them LIVE in front of my eyes.You'll never guess where KPS, Alvin, KL and me eventually gone to to watch the fireworks - NEPTUNE COURT. We were rushing to Collyer Quay cos 12am is striking. Then we pass by Neptune Restaurant and we remembered they have a fabulous Harbour Terrace so we decided to try out luck.
Some rich Tai Tais or Uncle was holding a private function there but all of them are waiting at the Harbour Terrace waiting for the fireworks and we simply sneaked in and mix around. The guests just gave us queer looks and the staffs just smiled and didn't stop us. Nice people. Who cares about the stares and all as long as i'm not a pest there. It's NATIONAL DAY!! Hehehe.... The place is a first class, elevated view area man.
We are quite slow in reaction too. After the whole fireworks session, then we realise we didn't take a shot with the fireworks. Arrghh.... So we posed in front of the NEPTUNE Poster. No Fish Prawn also good. Haha... and to capture the crowds and to pen down this moment and "memorable" event, we even took photos with the crowds!
By the time we left Neptune, it's already 12.20am. Night is still young? Off to our Singapore's very own Mustafa Center then!! Haha... Mad aint we? But this is the only few times you can do such things cos you can sleep till the sun comes down the next day. I'm very impressed with the variety at Mustafa Center man. Other than operating 24hrs, their range of products is soooo wide. NTUC, Sheng Siong, Cold Storage or Shop and Save, all can stand aside man. Mustafa is the winner. Though there's some "scent" lingering in the store, but heck lah. After some time, your nose will get used to it and seeing their cheap watches will make you forget everything. Haha....
Saw this wierd product, but dunno what the brand name stands for. Don't ask me too. Haha.... Looking at the variety, fatigue finally got ahead of us and pushes us to go home. It's really tiring... Hit the pillows at 2.30am man. Machiam like go Cheong-ing like that.
